About the class

We just had a baby so we’re kind of experts on this topic, not to mention Kathy scouring Instagram 24/7 for the last year for baby tips, tricks, and products. We also have a ~~willing volunteer~~ forced participant (our son) that we can use for hands-on demos.

We’ll have two more info-focused sessions where we will talk about feeding, digestion, soothing, sleep, wake windows, health tips, and our favorite baby products. The third session will be a ‘shadow’ session where we take care of our son while you watch, ask questions, and get to see what you’ve learned put into practice. We’ll make sure to explain what we’re doing and what’s more vs less important.

Then, for the final session we’ll hand you the keys and let you drive. You will take care of our son for a couple hours while we go out to eat!

Just kidding, we’ll of course be there to help as needed, but we’ll try to intervene as little as possible so you can get the full experience of taking care of a newborn :) We’ll individually schedule these so every student gets their own block of time.
